Results of My Friday Night Sew-In

Let's see...what did I get done?  Not a lot.

I worked on cutting the pieces for Smokey River by Whirligig Designs.

And I finished my Cathedral Windown pillow.

This pillow doesn't match anything in my house but I love it nonetheless.  I enjoyed making this one so much that I have a second planned using French General.  And then maybe a third one using a charm pack or two.  Ohhhh that's a good one.  I can see it in my head already!

Well off to sew...no resting on my laurels today.

Your cathedral windows quilt is stunning... if it doesn't go with anything at your house, I volunteer to give it a good home!

*lol*

Your cathedral window cushion is so fantastic, I would design the room around it! Did you do the pattern using the "cheat" version, or did you do the full on pattern? I have not made these yet, but I really want to. I just love how they look. So far, I have only found a You Tube video on how to make the "cheat" version. I do not know how to make them. Did you find something online? Take a class? You made it so fast!

The cathedral window pillow turned out just beautiful! I can see it clearly done up in those French General fabrics, I'm thinking Rounneries, but any of their fabrics are fabulous.

I love the pillow. I would change a room color just to use it. Very pretty.

Very pretty. I buy artwork and one time I told the artist that I loved his painting, but did not know where I would put it in my house. He smiled and said that you should buy what you like (not what matches your home) because you would always find a place for it. I took that to heart and now I make quilts, dolls, etc. not because they match or go in my house, but because I know I will always find a home for them. Your pillow is beautiful, enjoy it.

Your pillow is phenomenal. Did you use a pattern? Oh my, I've never made this pattern but if I were, it would be made like yours.
